Age Bracket Notices

A seasonal year is from August to July.  At MTsc, each seasonal year consists of two seasons: Fall (Sep to Nov) and Spring (Mar to May), in that order.  Each player is placed into an age bracket for the entire seasonal year based upon her age (at 12:01 am) on August 1st immediately prior to that seasonal year.

• Players younger than 4 years of age on August 1st may not register.
• Players who are 4 years of age on August 1 are in U5 (Under 5) age bracket.
• Players who are 5 years of age on August 1 are in U6 age bracket.
• Players who are 6 years of age on August 1 are in U7 age bracket.
• Players who are 7 years of age on August 1 are in U8 age bracket.
• Players who are 8 years of age on August 1 are in U9 age bracket.
• Players who are 9 years of age on August 1 are in U10 age bracket.
• Players who are 10 or 11 years of age on August 1 are in U12 age bracket.
• Players who are 12 or 13 years of age on August 1 are in U14 age bracket.
• Players who are 14 or 15 years of age on August 1 are in U16 age bracket.
• Players who are 16, 17, or 18 years of age on August 1st are in U19 bracket.

MTsc strives to maintain as many pure (separate) age brackets as possible, however periodically is becomes necessary (based on player registration) to combine or collapse age brackets for a given season.
