This MTsc U Camp focuses on the essentials of athleticism in order to improve an athlete’s performance relative to their use of energy and body mechanics regardless of age. It’s amazing how much speed an individual truly has but really does not know how to demonstrate that speed without exhausting themselves. Like in soccer, proper technique contributes to major improvements. Agility is another key to sports performance. This camp provides for improvement in both while working with trained professionals who have assisted many armature pre-high school, high school, and collegiate athletes. These camps are not limited to only MTsc U players and anyone can attend.

MEET MTsc U’s HEAD TRAINER
Clint Howard, MS, CPT has been sharing his passion for fitness since 1998 as a fitness and fat loss expert, certified personal trainer, physical therapy assistant, and University of Oklahoma Exercise Science instructor and strength & conditioning coach. Clint’s dedication and commitment to the fitness industry has gotten him recognized as one of the most successful personal trainers in the country. Clint holds a bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, both from the University of Oklahoma. He holds certifications through the highly regarded National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), & National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA).
Clint serves on the fitness department advisory board for Tulsa Community Care College and was one of the founding members of the APPT (Association of Professional Personal Trainers). Clint is a featured writer for the Fitness Expert Network as well as several local and national publications. Clint has become established as the go-to fitness expert in the Tulsa area. Clint appears regularly on the local FOX 23 News as their featured expert on health and fitness. Clint co-authored his first health & fitness book in 2007 and his second book, The Fit Formula which became a national best seller in 2011.

Scoring goals is the most difficult skill in soccer and it must be practiced every day. At MTsc U's Goal Scoring & Finishing camp, this is ALL we focus on.

Shane Schwab, a four year starter at The University of Tulsa where he set many scoring records and was voted 2 time MVP and Captain. He still ranks in the top 10 in all scoring statistical categories. He was an All-Midwest first team selection in 1989 and was an honorable mention Tulsa World Charvat Award winner for top amateur of the decade. He was the first-ever TU player to be drafted professionally in 1990 by the Dallas Sidekicks of MISL. He played professionally for the Tulsa Ambush, Tulsa Renegades, Tulsa Roughnecks and Dallas Rockets. He was selected USISL All-star 3 times and represented Tulsa Renegades on USISL trip to Russia in 1990. He played on 1991 Tulsa Ambush team. Shane has his U.S. Soccer B coaching license and has been coaching for over 20 years in both Tulsa and St. Louis.

This MTsc U Camp is an enjoyable session designed to develop the essential skills of the field player. Each day campers will enjoy a technical training circuit, soccer skill games, and small-sided soccer games. Campers get to work with The University of Tulsa Men and Women team coaches and collegiate players while improving their technique, growing their confidence and enhancing their overall game. These camps are not limited to only MTsc U players and anyone can attend.

MEET MTsc U’s HEAD TRAINER
Tom McIntosh is in his 21sh season as the head coach of the TU Golden Hurricane mens soccer team. He is only the fourth coach in the 34-year history of the program and is the school's all-time winningest soccer coach. Since he first walked on campus as a player in 1986, McIntosh has been a part of 290 of TU's 377 victories either as a player (1986-88), an assistant coach (1989-91) or as the head coach.
Tom has led TU to eight conference championships, including five tournament and three regular season titles. McIntosh has also put the Hurricane into the national spotlight, as Tulsa has advanced to the NCAA Tournament in eight of the last 12 seasons, including national quarterfinal appearances in 2004 and 2009. He has an overall record of 220-145-35 and over the past 12 years, 14 of his players have been drafted or gone on to play professionally.
In the summer of 1989, McIntosh played for the Tulsa Renegades of the Southwest Outdoor Soccer League. He holds a license in the United States Soccer Federation and belongs to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
