Mommy or Daddy & Me (M&M) Soccer Program Quick Glance and Program Content

The following describes a program for preschoolers and younger youth to promote the game of soccer and a healthy lifestyle.  The Program is born from the expertise of the Metro Tulsa Soccer Clubs United (MTsc U).  The below characteristics define the MTsc U Mommy or Daddy & Me (M&M) Soccer Program.

Mommy or Daddy & Me (M&M) Soccer Program Description

The MTsc U Mommy or Daddy & Me (M&M) Soccer Program consists of group sessions involving one parent or guardian and their child both simultaneously participating in dynamic, virtually non-stop soccer and agility activities and games during 50-min. sessions.  Registration is for six (6) sessions through MTsc United’s online registration.  Participants choose the scheduled sessions they want to register for during the M&M season.  All session times may not be available due to participation.

ELIGIBILITY
The Mommy or Daddy & Me (M&M) Program is open to U3 to U5 players.  

FOCUS
The focus of the Program is on player participation along with one of their parents or guardians, the basic building blocks of soccer, group friendships, and lots of non-stop fun.  For a detailed description of the Program itself, check out “MTsc  M&M Program Content" PDF at the bottom of the page.

STAFF
MTsc trainers conduct all group sessions.

REGISTRATION & FEES

6-Session Season Registration Fee is $90.00, jersey included.  Register online using the “ONLINE REGISTRATION” link on the home page of www.MetroTulsaSoccer.com.  Accepted forms of payment include MasterCard or Visa credit or debit cards, and Discover Card.  A pro-rate cost may be available for mid-season registrations if registering after the second week of the season based on availability.  

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR SESSIONS
Please have your child wear the jersey that was provided at check-in.  What you must have for participation is the following:

  1. A size #3 soccer ball is required for all sessions for the youth participant
  2. A size#5 (preferably) soccer ball is required for the parent participant; MTsc does have limited balls to borrow for parent use.
  3. Athletic shoes are required to be worn (no sandals allowed)

 Jerseys can be picked up at check-in prior to your session.  For questions, please contact the MTsc office at 918-298-0190. 

SESSION DAYS AND TIMES 

Each season runs 6 weeks in length, including make-up sessions due to weather.

The fall season runs from mid-September through October (subject to makeup days)

The spring season runs from Late March/Early April through mid-May (subject to makeup days)

Participants sign up for a specific class day/time:

  • Saturday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am
  • Saturday mornings from 10:45am to 11:45am

All sessions are subject to the note below:

A make-up day(s) may be added to the end of the season due to weather.

SESSION LOCATION
All group sessions are held at MTsc South Complex behind the MTsc office located at 10715 Riverside Parkway. Directions to the location and information on the facility can be found on www.MetroTulsaSoccer.com under the tab "CONTACT/LOCATE US". 

COMMUNICATION AS TO SESSION CANCELLATIONS

For general program communication associated with scheduled and canceled sessions, MTsc communicates to participants in the following manner:

  1. “Metro Tulsa Soccer Club” Facebook page posts 
  2. "MetroTulsaSC" Twitter tweets 
  3. GroupMe app

If a session is cancelled due to inclement weather, a make-up day will be added at the end of the season.

AVAILABILITY LIMITATIONS

Session groups will be limited to no more than twenty (20) youth participants and one of their parents or guardians.
